A Little About
Myself.

I'm presently a machine learning engineer at Duolingo. Before that, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, where I conducted research in theoretical physics. I earned a Ph.D. in physics from Johns Hopkins University in 2014, and an M.S. and B.S. in physics from Carnegie Mellon University before that.

My career has transitioned into, among other things, applications of machine learning research in industry. My main interests lie in applications of machine learning to predictive analytics and natural language processing.
